Mudhalvan is a Tamil film directed by Shankar, later re-made in Hindi as Nayak: The Real Hero. The film stars Arjun, Manisha Koirala and Sushmita Sen. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman. This film was a tremendous success at the box office and continued Shankar's dream run. It won the Filmfare Best Tamil Film Award in the year of its release.
